Analyzing Opening or Closing Title Sequence

In this task, we are required to choose an opening or closing title sequence from a movie of our preference. We are to analyze the elements used, the transitions and effects, background music or sound, the narrative of the title sequence, and most importantly, how it is related to the movie.

For this task, I have chosen the closing sequence of the movie from Hotel Transylvania 3 in which it is an animation movie released in 2018. Hotel Transylvania is a kids-genre computer generated animated comedy film produced by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the 3rd franchise of Hotel Transylvania and the sequel to Hotel Transylvania 2.

Below are some of the screenshots from the closing sequence with some brief explanations on the analysis.

In general, the background color of the whole closing sequence is red because red is represent horror or blood in which it is related to the monsters or Dracula theme of this movie. The characters are however, animated in 2D animations instead of 3D to represent that this movie as about animations and cartoons that is suitable for kids. The fonts used are mostly black and bolded which is a suitable combinations to match the outline of the characters of the 2D images. The background music used is from song "I see love by Jonas Blue ft Joe Jonas" in which this songs matches the story line of Hotel Transylvania 3 which about the Dracula falling in love with a human.

Each of the animated characters and props in the closing sequence is actually the element that can be found at a certain part of the movie. From the first picture shown above, the Dracula is wearing a diving fin because in one of the scene, he went diving into the oceans with his family. The character is also going to the left direction to prepare for a transition. Included in the first scene if the sequence is also the name of the director of this movie. 

Second example is from the 3rd picture. The huge binocular can be found in the scene where the main actress is spying on the Dracula using a huge binocular with intention to kill him. 

As for the transitions, every transitions is done after an actions made in the animation. Below are the 3 sample picture of the transitions in which, the first picture showing bubbles were formed and diffuse into the air to reveal the next closing scene. The 2nd picture shows an electric sparks before transitioning to the next closing sequence scene. The 3rd picture is showing the fonts are bowled for the next transition.
